Steelers sign rookie Mendenhall: The Steelers have signed their first-round draft pick, RB Rashard Mendenhall, to a five-year contract. The Steelers announced the deal Friday, but say they have no plans for a news conference or to make Mendenhall available. He will likely meet with the media when training camp opens on Sunday.
