Titans sign rookie running back Johnson: The Tennessee Titans have wrapped up their last draft pick, agreeing to terms with first-round selection Chris Johnson on a five-year, $12 million deal. Johnson missed the first practice of training camp on Friday, but the team announced Saturday morning that they had reached agreement on a deal with the running back out of East Carolina who was the 24th pick overall in the draft. He is expected to be on the field Saturday afternoon for the Titans' next training camp session. (Updated 07/26/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Considered the fastest player available in the draft, Johnson was timed at 4.24 seconds in the 40-yard dash. We're expecting big things from Johnson by the end of his first NFL season. He's an exciting runner with good hands and the ability to make yards after the catch. Think a poor man's Reggie Bush, but for how long he will be a poor man is the key. He won't be Tennessee's main option at any one position, but can play them all on the offense. Think of Johnson as a middle-round pick in seasonal drafts, and a late first-round pick in rookie-only formats. If he can handle the pounding he'll take at the pro level, he's got a chance to be a really special Fantasy player. (Updated 07/26/2008).
