Hillis gets 10 carries, two scores: Broncos rookie fullback Peyton Hillis, getting a start at halfback thanks to a string of injuries, carried the ball only 10 times for 44 yards Week 11 at Atlanta. He did score two touchdowns, though -- on a seven-yard run in the first quarter and a two-yard run in the third. He also had 26 yards receiving on three catches.

Hillis showed he could handle the majority of the team's carries even if he didn't get all that many on Sunday. As long as Selvin Young remains sidelined by a groin injury, Hillis will likely maintain the role, so consider him an excellent sleeper with a great matchup Week 12 against the Raiders.

RB Peyton Hillis thinks as he gets more practice repetitions at tailback, he'll improve at the position. He was recruited out of high school as a tailback before settling in as a fullback at Arkansas, so he has a little bit of experience at the position. He should get first crack at the tailback job, which is wide open because of injuries. 11/13/2008
