Bills release a pair: Tight end Teyo Johnson and quarterback Luke Drone were waived by the Buffalo Bills after the team's final minicamp practice Thursday. Johnson, the Oakland Raiders' second-round pick in the 2003 NFL draft, was attempting a comeback after not playing since his release by Arizona during the 2005 season. The Bills had signed Johnson in January. Drone signed with the Bills in late April as a rookie undrafted free agent out of Illinois State. Drone, one of five quarterbacks on Buffalo's roster, saw very limited practice time during minicamps over the past month. (Updated 06/12/2008).
