Domestic violence charges were dropped Thursday against Steelers linebacker James Harrison, who was arrested in early March after hitting his girlfriend. Allegheny County prosecutors announced the decision as a judge was preparing to open a preliminary hearing for Harrison on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. Harrison's attorney, Robert DelGreco Jr., said Harrison has completed anger management and psychological counseling, which likely would have been required had the case gone to trial. (Updated 04/03/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Harrison replaced the departed Joey Porter and had a tremendous season in 2007, earning a trip to the Pro Bowl. He started all 16 games and finished with 98 total tackles (76 solo), 8.5 sacks and one interception. He also had three fumble recoveries and seven forced fumbles. Harrison set career-highs in every category last season and turned into a No. 1 LB in IDP leagues. He should be considered a decent draft pick in 2008 so long as he's not suspended for anything resulting from his arrest. (Updated 04/03/2008).
