LB Monty Beisel is returning to Kansas City after spending the last four of his eight NFL seasons in New England (one year) and Arizona. He has first-hand knowledge of the two men who now comprise the Chiefs' top brain trust. Beisel got to know Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli during his 2005 campaign with the Patriots. He also spent the last two seasons watching, from the other side of the ball, new Chiefs coach Todd Haley when he was the offensive coordinator at Arizona in a campaign that ended in the Super Bowl. It's not surprising, then, to see his Chiefs teammates coming to Beisel with questions about what to expect from the two men who will direct their futures. "The best way to look at both those guys is to look at what they've done in the past," Beisel tells them. "What you see is what you get. It's probably start to develop that chemistry and that core group. I hope what you see in the past is what you're going to see in the future.'' 49//2009
