Ravens QBs look shaky at 1st practice: Baltimoreravens.com is reporting that Ravens quarterbacks Troy Smith, Kyle Boller and Joe Flacco all looked rusty in their opening training camp practice Tuesday. Boller was the first man behind center in seven-on-seven drills, and Smith led the nine-on-nine drills. All three overthrew receivers and looked out of sync at times. Head coach John Harbaugh is reserving judgement before he has the entire squad on the field Friday, even if he is still gathering information. "I think [the evaluation] starts Friday, really," he said walking off the field. "And of course we say that it doesnt start today and we say that its hard to evaluate, but of course youre standing there and youre watching guys make plays and watching them handle the offense. But youre certainly not making any decisions yet." (Updated 07/22/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
The Ravens are looking for the best possible passer to lead their team before handing over the reins to Flacco. Boller was expected to win the job but Smith obviously has done something right. This is a position battle to watch heading into training camp, with the winner being a low-end No. 2 Fantasy QB. Smith and Boller are nothing more than desperation options as one-week replacements while Flacco has potential to be a big-armed passer in the future. We like Flacco as a late first-round pick in rookie-only drafts. (Updated 07/22/2008).
