Mora not worried about Hasselbeck: According to the team web site, Seattle QB Matt Hasselbeck appears fully recovered from last year's back problem. "I felt fine before Christmas, maybe," Hasselbeck said. "Maybe after. I don't know. I'd be guessing. But a long time ago. I was close (at the end of last season)." Hasselbeck has reportedly looked great in offseason workouts. Coach Jim More isn't worried about his QB. "Sure, it creeps into the back of your mind on occasion because he missed a lot of games last year," Mora said. "Any time a guy is coming off that it creeps into your mind. But I think through the course of training camp and the preseason that that will go away."

Fantasy owners are hoping Hasselbeck is here to stay, especially with his rejuvenated receiving corps, which features a new addition in T.J. Houshmandzadeh, injury returns in Nate Burleson and Deion Branch and the maturation of TE John Carlson. We like Hasselbeck as a No. 2 Fantasy QB with upside, and he's worth drafting with a mid-round pick in all leagues.

QB Matt Hasselbeck values June practice work as much as any during the season. "For me it's the most important time, especially as a thrower. It's probably similar to a pitcher. You get your arm ready for competitive throws, two days of practice in one day and those kinds of things. That's where you really sharpen your skills. You know you're coming back to camp. There's a conditioning test. A body fat percentage test. There's a weigh in. All that stuff is coming, so it's time to go at that point." 61/1/2009
