If I'm taking a road team in a game like this, I'm doing so because I project them to win outright. The key in this one is defense and the running game, both of which favor the Cowboys. I'm not of the belief that Dallas is suddenly a great team because it picked up a couple nationally televised wins against decent teams, but there is no questioning the offensive improvement since Amari Cooper joined the roster. Andrew Luck could have himself a big day, and the Colts could still struggle to move it late. This one will be close in either direction, so give me the points and the better defense.
Ezekiel Elliott will be the best player on the field, and Amari Cooper is a big difference-maker. Andrew Luck is playing well but the Dallas defense will get pressure on him and will make it tough. The Colts won't be able to run on this Dallas defense. Take the field goal.
This should be one of the spotlight games of the weekend as the Cowboys are coming in red hot, winners of 5 straight games. Meanwhile, the Colts are coming off of a big win against the Houston Texans. What Andrew Luck will have to do in this game is overcome the pressure he'll face from the Cowboys front four, and the sticky coverage that the receivers will face from the back seven. On the Cowboys front, it seems like their offense is productive no matter the opponent. Productive enough to give them the ability to play any type of game necessary to get the win.
