With the Raiders traveling east for a 1 p.m. game, I like the Bills to jump out to an early lead before halftime. In particular, the Bills should be able to score on Oakland's mediocre defense, while the Raiders' offensive breakout last week might be a result of playing an opponent that's struggled against the pass. With no Marshawn Lynch to convert in short-yardage situations, that's even more reason to like Buffalo early. I'm slightly hesitant to take them -2.5 for 60 minutes with how well Derek Carr plays late and the Buffalo secondary dealing with injuries. This play seems like a smarter bet.

Buffalo hasn't lost against the spread all season in its three games at home, but the Bills are running into a team this week that found its groove and I like the Raiders to continue to roll here. The Raiders had lost four straight until shredding the KC defense in a 31-30 win. All offensive parts are in check and ready to roll now, again. Oakland is simply better than the over-achieving Bills. Take either +3 or the moneyline on Oakland, or both.
