The numbers say the Colts are terrible. They're last in the league in offensive DVOA and 29th on the defensive side. They own a negative-1.3 yards per play differential that matches the Dolphins for worst in the league. They can't defend the pass (7.8 net yards per attempt allowed), can't really run the ball (Jacksonville's defensive weakness) and give up a league-worst 2.34 points per drive. I'm less worried backing road Bortles against a bad defense in a game where he shouldn't have to throw much for the Jaguars to have success. I also like fading the Colts coming off a Monday night loss where they seemed to play their best for most of the night and still lost by 14.
