The Broncos are out of sync offensiveiy, and their elite defense has had problems against teams with strong QBs like Philip Rivers. The Chargers are playing really well, showing major improvement defensively, and I think they'll get the sweep Sunday.

This isn't the same Denver team that San Diego beat a couple weeks ago. At home, I expect the Broncos' defense to dictate the game and hold the Chargers below 20 points. In my simulations, Denver is covering 60 percent of the time.

San Diego has proven to be a much better team than their 3-4 record would suggest. They beat the Broncos two weeks ago – albeit with rookie Paxton Lynch quarterbacking Denver – and they aren’t going to be intimidated by Denver’s defense after that win. Philip Rivers has played well in Denver over the course of his career, and Joey Bosa has given a spark to an improved defense. With the Broncos expected to be missing C.J. Anderson, the running game might get worn down late in the game. San Diego keeps this one close in a low-scoring game.
