No one has proven able to derail the Falcons' offense and I don't the expect San Diego to, which is why I think it'll be a shootout up and down the field. Philip Rivers and the Chargers can keep up too. Let's go Over in what should be a highly entertaining game.
This is a great matchup and both teams will have success throwing the ball. It should be close, and that's why I'm taking the points.
The Falcons get a lot of credit for being one of the league's most dangerous offenses, but the Chargers deserve plenty of credit too. Despite having his supporting cast beat up by injuries, Philip Rivers has the San Diego passing offense ranking fourth in net yards per attempt and sixth in passing DVOA. The Chargers defense is starting to hit its stride with Joey Bosa on the field, and they should do a good enough job to keep the Falcons from pulling away. Even if the Chargers are down two scores late, I have confidence in Rivers to get the backdoor cover.
