Houston has done just one thing well through the first three weeks: defend the pass. The Texans have scored just three touchdowns on offense, and their 1.11 points per drive ranks last in the NFL. They aren't good throwing the ball (29th in DVOA) or running it (31st). Their special teams ranks 31st in DVOA. Their run defense is 22nd in DVOA and has given up 4.8 yards per attempt. That's Tennessee's bread and butter, and if they can avoid turnovers, the Titans' defense, which has given up just three TDs, will keep the struggling Texans offense down. Throw in the J.J. Watt injury, and the Titans may be the better team overall.
Don't want to lay 7, so grabbing it now. The Texans were embarrassed in last Thursday's spotlight game and should come out with a vengeance against a team they whipped by a combined 54-12 last season.
