I see a shootout brewing. I can make a case for the desperate 0-2 team coming up big like happened with Washington and Buffalo on Sunday, and the Saints have covered their last five against the NFC South, but the Over just seems safer with Matt Ryan and his offense looking outstanding. And of course the defenses looking awful. Saints win, 34-31.

These teams that are tough to figure out on a weekly basis. But to me the key matchup will be the Falcons’ receivers versus the Saints’ thin secondary. Atlanta will win that matchup and possibly win this game outright. Back the dog.

Coming off a win at Oakland, the Falcons head to New Orleans on Monday night. They'll take on a Saints team that's been close in both their losses to the Raiders and Giants. Frankly, they're failing to hit that extra level as their identity remains undefined. Atlanta, on the other hand, has shifted its offense to emphasize Matt Ryan's strengths. He is spreading the football around and becoming more efficient. It's a recipe that bodes well on the road, with Atlanta's improved defense. Grab the points. I expect Atlanta to send New Orleans into an 0-3 hole.
