K.C. is being coy about whether RB Jamaal Charles (ACL) returns to work for the first time since Game 5 last year. Signals emanating from Chiefs camp suggest he might. Even without Charles, backers can take comfort that K.C. has not only won seven straight at Arrowhead, but every margin was above a field goal. The Chiefs practice turnover-avoidance and should return to the norm after three lost fumbles. Jets receivers Brandon Marshall (knee) and Eric Decker (shoulder) are ailing.

The Jets' offense is versatile and balanced, and Ryan Fitzpatrick won't be under a heavy rush with KC still missing Justin Houston. The Chiefs are on pace for 24 sacks after racking up 47, 46, and 47 the past three seasons. Kansas City's offense, meanwhile, should bounce back at home after a terrible performance in Houston.
