Los Angeles played much better defensively at home versus Seattle than in Week 1 at San Francisco, and coach Jeff Fisher will try to use that same blueprint at Tampa Bay. The Bucs showed what playing a good defense can do to their offense in a 40-7 loss at Arizona last week, and Jameis Winston will struggle again. My simulations have the Rams covering 62 percent of the time.
These teams have met the past four seasons with the Rams winning and covering each, but I like the trend to change Sunday. It's amazing the roller coaster of perception both these teams have given the public after just two weeks. We loved the Bucs after Week 1, then hated them after showing nothing at Arizona. The Rams didn't score in Week 1, then looked dynamite at home (at least defensively) against the Seahawks. I respect the Rams' defense, but I don't think it's going to take too many Bucs' scores for Tampa to cover.
