San Diego Chargers at New England Patriots
27The Patriots are big favorites here and they should be. The Chargers are limping in with their key players hurting. If Philip Rivers can't go, it will be up to Billy Volek to win it. I think Rivers will play. The key will be how well the Chargers' two lines can handle the Patriots. I think they can have success on both sides. Look for LaDainian Tomlinson to run for 100 yards and keep the sticks moving. The San Diego defense will tackle well and keep Randy Moss in front of them. In the end, though, the Patriots are just too good. Tom Brady throws for three more scores and the Patriots will get to 18-0.
Result: New England Patriots 21, San Diego Chargers 12

NY Giants Giants at Green Bay Packers
24Everything points to a Packers victory. They're at home. It will be frigid. They've defeated the Giants already. Plus, they have an experienced Brett Favre, while Eli Manning will be playing in his first championship game. So why do I think the Giants will win? For starters, they're on a roll. And they're not turning the ball over. Manning is playing well, but he must get it to rookie tight end Kevin Boss because the Packers have great corners. He will. They will also run the football. But the Packers will counter with an offense that is even better. Favre will get the ball out quickly to avoid the Giants defensive strength, which is their pass rush. I just think he'll make a big mistake and the Giants will capitalize on it. In the chilling cold, this will be a classic. Ice Bowl II? Only this time, the Packers don't win it.
Result: NY Giants Giants 23, Green Bay Packers 20
