Bash Ko-Me? Fine, but Shaq's language is an N-no

Shaquille O'Neal sure is witty.

He asked Ko-Me Bryant, in some sort of lame rap that was videotaped and has turned viral, how his ass tasted.

Hey Shaq: Heard that one in fifth grade, dude.

Right along with "Smell ya' later" and "Quick, pull my finger."

Introducing the title of Shaq's next album: "Yo' Mama Wears Combat Boots."

Shaq is such a horrid rapper if you put him against Shania Twain in a rap-off, I'd put my money on Twain.

My name is Shania / Don't call me Mariah / Draw it on an easel / I'll crush the Diesel.

Hell, I'd take Mark Twain and the points over O'Neal.

Chuck D, he's not.

O'Neal has recorded seven albums? How? Do they self-publish in the record industry?

Yet there was something more disturbing in Shaq's step and fetch show than merely a horrid display of poor rapsmanship.

It was Shaq's public use of the N-word.

Now, look at the message boards on various sites across the Web, commenting on the O'Neal video. The word is being used with great casualness, people empowered by O'Neal's use of it.

to call Kobe out.  Wasn't it Kobe that ran Shaq out of LA?  Wasn't it Kobe that started the fued with Shaq?

Kobe is nothing more than a spoiled brat.  He demanded to be "the Star" of the Lakers.  He was not willing to share the spotlight with O'Neal.  He forced the Lakers ...(more)

Well some people have been talking about this on other threads, but it truly is a double standard.  Freeman mentioned something about and Italian nickname.  Maybe i'm not cultured enough because I dont live around a ton of italians, but I have no clue what he's talking about.  White people (at least the ones I know)  dont have names like this that are derogitory but suppos ...(more)

I really don't know what to say. I used to defend Freeman because I really didn't understand the hate toward him...now I see it. Then again, Freeman said what alot of non-black americans believe and you still bag on him.

I get it now.

Freeman flip flops his stories to get the most response...positive or negative. It seems to me that cbs understands that freeman will make ...(more)

Listen, I don't think Mike Freeman should be calling himself a journalist.  I am the first one to complain about a lack of standards on CBS's part for letting this guy write.  Mike Freeman is absolutely unequivically correct on this issue.  I am proud of Mikey for writing this article.  Mike manned up and took a stand for his race, a REAL stand for his race.  Although I am ...(more)
