Celtics F Kevin Garnett's numbers during the 2007-08 regular season (18.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists) were his lowest since the 1997-98 season -- his third NBA season. (Updated 04/29/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Garnett played his first NBA season alongside two top NBA stars -- Paul Pierce and Ray Allen -- and all three players saw a decline in scoring numbers, as expected. Now that they have to share the scoring load, there just isn't enough touches for Garnett to average 20-and-10 as he had in each of his previous nine seasons. Garnett remains an elite Fantasy forward when you consider all that he offers (blocks, steals and field-goal percentage), but Fantasy owners will have to temper expectations for all of the Boston Three Party members. (Updated 04/29/2008).
Garnett had 28 points and eight rebounds as the Celtics took an ugly 76-72 victory over the Cavaliers on Tuesday night in Game 1 of their second-round playoff series. (Updated 05/07/2008)
Advice
Garnett went 13-for-22 from the field, helping the Celtics overcome the absence of the team's other two superstars. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen combined for four points, 10 turnovers and 2-for-18 shooting. Garnett is averaging 21.9 points and 8.8 rebounds while shooting 50.0 percent in eight postseason games.
