Duhon officially signs with Knicks: The New York Knicks have signed Chris Duhon, giving them another option at point guard if they part ways with Stephon Marbury. Duhon spent his first four years with the Chicago Bulls, averaging a career-low 5.8 points last season. (Updated 07/09/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Duhon was not re-signed by the Bulls, who needed to clear room in their backcourt after drafting point guard Derrick Rose with the No. 1 pick. He could become an immediate starter in New York. Marbury has a year and more than $21 million left on his contract, but ankle surgery cut short the worst season of his career and the Knicks might prefer to move on without him. Fantasy owners should keep this in mind even if he does find himself ample playing time in the future as he's clearly not a player that can be productive statistically even when seeing regular minutes. He got a chance to be a regular in the starting lineup for the Bulls last season, but had to be replaced due to his overall inefficiency. As a starter, he averaged only 6.5 points and 5.7 assists despite averaging 30.2 minutes. (Updated 07/09/2008).
