Mason goes back to Oklahoma : Agents for Mo Williams and Desmond Mason said Wednesday a six-player deal is being finalized that will send Mason to Oklahoma City. The trade reshapes the rebuilding Bucks, gives Cleveland an additional scoring threat and sends Mason to Oklahoma, where he's already a fan favorite. "We're excited," Mason's agent, Roger Montgomery said. "He's been to Oklahoma City, he's familiar with the people there, he's familiar with the Ford Center, he's played there, the fans loved him when he was there. His nickname is the Cowboy. It's really apropos to come back."

Fantasy Analysis

Mason played in college at Oklahoma State and spent time with the Hornets franchise in Oklahoma City when it was relocated in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In Oklahoma, he'll be behind Jeff Green on the depth chart and will also have to split time with Damien Wilkins. Don't expect his value to change much in Fantasy. Mason enjoyed his best NBA season in Milwaukee back in 2004-05 when he averaged a career-high 17.2 points, but that likely won't happen again. He should be drafted in Fantasy, but as a reserve.
