Prior to Thursday's record-setting 61-point loss to the Hornets, the Grizzlies, losers of 22 of their previous 23 games, put in two solid performances -- a 7-point home win against the Nuggets and a three-point road loss at Brooklyn. At home against a Lakers squad that has dropped its last four decisions, the Grizz should cover and potentially win outright. Los Angeles has covered just twice in its last nine outings, and my projections indicate Memphis covering this game nearly two-thirds the time. Back the Grizzlies.
