The Spurs likely will struggle to find consistent offense amid the absence of Kawhi Leonard, who had 26 points in Game 1 before leaving with an injury. LaMarcus Aldridge will receive a lot of attention from the Golden State defense, and it's doubtful he or anyone else can produce enough to make up the difference. I'm also anticipating a bit of a letdown from the Warriors given Leonard's absence. They will want to atone for a slow start in Game 1, but I still see this game playing out in a rugged tempo that leads to the Under hitting.
With Kawhi Leonard likely out and no Tony Parker, this would appear like the ideal spot for the Warriors to get the 20 point win. They've shaken off the rust from the long delay, and the Spurs might be feeling they just blew the series after the Game 1 collapse. However, I'm staying with the culture that coach Pop brings to the team, with TEAM being the operative word. The last four games Leonard has missed since March, the Spurs won them all by double-digits, including a 107-85 win against the Warriors (No Curry, Durant or Thompson). I don't see the Spurs giving up. Take the points.
It's hard to back a team that let you down so severely last time out. Though they came back to win, capitalizing on Kawhi Leonard's injury, the Warriors never came close to covering and that's all that matters here. Leonard is out for Game 2. The Warriors got a big scare in Game 1 and I think they control this one from the outset. Lay it.
