The Kings open the season as slight road dogs against the Suns. The Kings are nowhere near a playoff team, but I expect a much better defensive effort this season with Dave Joerger calling the shots. Joerger's teams are always mentally discipline and tough defensively. Look for that defensive mindset to show in the first game of the season against the Suns. The Kings have several veteran players that will work well with what Joerger wants to do. Take the Kings plus the points and watch them steal one on the road to start the season.
