--RHP A.J. Burnett was originally slotted to start Friday at Minnesota, but when Sunday's game against Cleveland was rained out, Burnett's start was pushed back to Monday. The Jays will likely call up LHP David Purcey for Friday's game against the Twins.
--CF Alex Rios went 1-for-9 in the two games of Monday's doubleheader. He also stranded four runners on base.
--1B Lyle Overbay lined into a triple play in the sixth inning of Monday's first game. With LF Kevin Mench at second and DH Marco Scutaro at first, Overbay hit a line drive as the Jays were running on a hit-and-run play. Overbay shattered his bat and sent a sinking liner up the middle that Cleveland second baseman Asdrubal Cabrera made a diving catch on. Cabrera got to his feet, touched second and tagged out Scutaro.
--Despite the Jays' lack of hitting with runners in scoring position, batting coach Gary Denbo has not lost faith. "It's going to even out, it always does," Denbo said. "I think over the course of a season, our offense is going to get better."
--LHP B.J. Ryan still hasn't allowed a run this season. Ryan came on in the ninth inning of the second game Monday, didn't allow a hit, struck out one and ended up with the win. Ryan's scoreless streak extended to 10 innings in 10 appearances.
BY THE NUMBERS 32 -- Number of different batting lineups manager John Gibbons has employed over the Jays' opening 38 games.
QUOTE TO NOTE "Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did." -- Jays manager John Gibbons after a 12-0 loss to Cleveland Saturday.

This is a little game done on a bunch of NFL boards...
Answer true or false to the statement that the person above you posted and then say a statement yourself for the next person to answer. Doesn't have to be Jays only, feel free to make statements about other teams or players (especially if it is funny or bashes them in any way.)
I have a few openings in a dynasty type league where all players are kept from one year to the next. There is only one team that is available that is a bad team. The other teams are average or above average. I will do a small redraft of the open teams or something similar to make that one bad team a little more competitive
