--LHP Cliff Lee pitched nine scoreless innings but did not get a win in the second game of a doubleheader Monday night because the Indians didn't score, getting shut out 3-0 by Toronto. Lee was attempting to become the first Indians pitcher to win his first seven starts in a season since Duster Mails in 1920.

--2B Asdrubal Cabrera turned an unassisted triple play in the fifth inning of the second game of the Indians' doubleheader versus Toronto Monday night. It was the Indians' first unassisted triple play since Bill Wambganss in Game 5 of the 1920 World Series.

--Indians pitchers had a streak of 31 consecutive scoreless innings snapped when Toronto scored three runs in the 10th inning of the second game of a doubleheader Monday. That's the Indians' longest scoreless innings streak since they pitched 34 consecutive scoreless innings in May of 1972.

--RHP Jake Westbrook, on the DL with a strained intercostal, will throw a simulated game Tuesday.

--OF Shin Soo Choo, on the DL while he continues his rehab from Tommy John surgery on his left (throwing) elbow last September, will begin a rehab assignment at Class AAA Buffalo Wednesday.

--Monday's doubleheader was the first traditional doubleheader at Progressive Field since Aug. 13, 1997 versus Detroit.

BY THE NUMBERS
13 -- Number of leadoff home runs in the first inning hit by OF Grady Sizemore in his career. Kenny Lofton holds the club record with 18.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"He's proven he can pitch like this. I mean we're not talking about one or two starts."-- Manager Eric Wedge, after LHP Cliff Lee pitched seven shutout innings in a win over the Yankees to improve his record to 6-0, with a 0.81 ERA.

(POLL)

CC Sabathia is a beat. With the Indians in his final starts, and now with the Brewers in his first four starts. He is a 1.38 ERA and 4-0 with 3 CG and 2 SO's. He has simply been amazing. I think he will ge ...(more)

CC Sabathia is simply not living up to expectations with the Brewers so far. He is hitting only .154 with one measly HR. Last night he stunk it up again with an 0-4 and 2 strike outs. Guess he's not the hitter we all thought he was. ...(more)

(POLL) Well Fausto Carmona is going to take a spot in the Indians rotation so now its time to see who goes down. Certainly not Cliff Lee . Aa ...(more)

CC has already been traded and Blake seems like he's next in line with Betancourt's name being mentioned as well.  But what about Byrd?  I know most people would love to see him traded as he's a free agent at the end of the year and makes nearly $8M (which sadly though, isn't that much for a veteran starter these days), but nearly everyone on here says there's no w ...(more)

This comes from another thread talking about how much of a gamer Casey Blake is.  Id like to put together a list with everyones help of the "All Gamer Team".  People who show up to work every day, do whatever is needed, love to get dirty and play the game how the game is supposed to be played.  Alot of ...
