As you already know Shin-Soo Choo should be back in a Tribe uniform as earl as June 1st.  When he comes back he has to be on the 25 man roster because he is out of options.  So someone will have to be sent down or released.  Jason Michaels has already been let go so here are my thoughts on what can be done:

plays for the Cleveland Indians! We all know Vic has been one of the best hitting catchers for years but his defensive skills and his leadership has put him at the top of the game(obviously my opinion)!  We all know the kind of catcher Vic was when he entered MLB(couldnt throw a guy out to save his life), now he has established him ...(more)

I recall last year on these boards when Hafner signed his deal with the Indians.  Most everybody was pretty stoked.  Then he went off to choke in the post season and hasn't recovered.  He is on pace to get about 122 hits this year.  I believe he makes $15 mil a year.  He doesn't play the field so I calculate each h ...(more)

Who would have thunk that after the 2nd week of the season, the tribes 2 most consistantly good pitchers would be Cliff Lee and Jake Westbrook!  CC Sabathis is blowing his contract year, while Carmona is being a Jeckyl and Hyde! If we get C ...(more)

Rumor Mill
The Akron Beacon Journal reports that GM Mark Shapiro is not blowing smoke when he says he has the leverage to sign other young players to long-term deals (Ryan Garko might be next), and that he is not pessimistic about re-signing C.C. Sabathia, despite his high standing among the next class of free agents. (updated: 04/28/2008)
