Santana departed after 5 2/3 innings with a 5-4 lead. Santana allowed five runs, nine hits and one walk. He struck out seven as his ERA went from 2.02 to 2.63. It was his first no decision in six starts. Also, his five-game winning streak came to an end.

Figgins is hitting .306 with seven RBI and 11 stolen bases in 32 games this season, but missed his sixth straight game Saturday. "He's making progress, but not enough to where you're projecting to play him anytime next week," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said.

He opened the season on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right triceps. "He maintained his stuff the whole way," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said before Friday night's game at Tampa Bay. "His workout today was what we were looking for." Lackey previously made three rehab starts for Class-A Rancho Cucamonga.
