Fantasy Analysis
Gabbard is 1-0 in four starts with a 2.18 ERA. He doesn't have much upside or strikeout potential, but he manages to keep his ERA and WHIP respectable and is worth using in AL-only leagues. Feldman is as well a low-end AL-only Fantasy option, and Millwood is a viable mixed league SP, but is licking his wounds from a thrashing at the hands of Seattle Monday. (Updated 05/07/2008).
Millwood gave up nine hits and seven runs in three innings, his shortest start of the season, as the visiting Rangers fell, 7-6, to Seattle on Monday. (Updated 05/06/2008)
Advice
Millwood has lost 10 consecutive road decisions, tying the Texas franchise record by Joe McClain of the Washington Senators from 1961-62. His last road victory came in Cincinnati on June 17. Millwood has allowed 17 earned runs in his last 15 1-3 innings. He is 2-3 with a 4.94 ERA in eight starts this season.
