Fantasy Analysis
Glavine spent the previous five seasons with the New York Mets after pitching his first 16 years in Atlanta. For most of the night, Glavine was in vintage form Wednesday. He kept hitters off balance with an assortment of slow stuff and pinpoint control. Glavine has had mixed results in his first year back with Atlanta and was even on the DL for a bit. He is no longer an elite pitcher and is more of a low-end option in Fantasy leagues these days. His next scheduled start is for Tuesday against his old mates, the Mets. He is on track to be a two-start pitcher Fantasy Week 8 (May 19-25) with his second start coming against the Diamondbacks. Both starts are at home where Glavine has a 6.52 ERA. (Updated 05/14/2008).
