MLB.com reports the Cardinals currently enroll the help of Adam Kennedy, Aaron Miles and Brendan Ryan at second base, and are quite pleased with their efforts. "We have a good situation now where we've got a nice number of combinations that are producing," Cardinals manager Tony La Russa said. Kennedy has made 19 starts at second base, while Miles had 10 and Ryan had two. Ryan started Friday and Saturday against the Cubs, and Kennedy started there in the series finale Sunday. "It wasn't until early in the afternoon when we decided to play Ryan instead of Kennedy (Saturday)," La Russa said. "He's had several days off -- more than you would like him to have. But we did have a good game Friday night and Brendan contributed, so I went ahead and went with Brendan." (Updated 05/05/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
The left-handing-hitting Kennedy is batting .310 with three doubles, nine RBI, nine runs scored and two stolen bases in 22 games. He has an on-base percentage of .359. The switch-hitting Miles is batting .300 with two doubles, five RBI and six runs scored in 20 games. He has an on-base percentage of .354. The right-handed-hitting Ryan is batting .333 with one double, two RBI, three runs scored and one stolen base in nine games since coming off the disabled list. He has an on-base percentage of .357. La Russa continues to rotate all three players at second and hit them in the No. 2 hole in front of Albert Pujols. However, it hurts their Fantasy value since none of them have an everyday role. Kennedy will see the most starts, but like Miles and Ryan, all three players are just NL-only Fantasy options. (Updated 05/05/2008).
