Campillo two-hits the Marlins: Rookie Jorge Campillo pitched seven innings and two relievers completed a two-hitter to help the Atlanta Braves beat the Florida Marlins 4-0 Monday night. The 29-year-old Campillo (5-4), who moved into the rotation in May, allowed both hits, walked one, struck out six and lowered his ERA to 2.83. Campillo retired the first 12 batters before Josh Willingham walked to start the fifth. Mike Jacobs singled with one out, but Cody Ross hit into a double play. Jeremy Hermida singled leading off the seventh for the Marlins' other hit. (Updated 07/21/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Campillo last pitched July 13, right before the All-Star break, and the team gave him a few extra days to rest after injuring his foot while batting against the Padres. It seems the extra rest help as Campillo was on his game Monday. He has won his last two starts and has allowed just two runs in 13 innings. Campillo is worth using as a low-end Fantasy SP in larger mixed leagues. His next scheduled start is for Sunday against the Phillies. Campillo is 0-1 with a 5.27 ERA against Philadelphia this season.
