The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Cardinals RP Tyler J. Johnson (rotator cuff strain) has started a long-toss program but won't throw off a mound until at least early May. "I feel strong. I feel really strong, actually," Johnson said. "When I'm playing catch, the ball is definitely coming out good. I don't feel like I'm trying to throw the ball as hard as I can to be able to throw decent." (Updated 04/16/2008).
Injury Report
Shoulder - 15-day DL. Out until at least late May (Updated - 4/16/08)
Fantasy Analysis
Surgery looks unlikely now for Johnson, but one small setback and he could go under the knife. Continue to ignore him in all Fantasy leagues until at least next month. (Updated 04/16/2008).
