Fantasy Analysis
Wright has replaced Carlos Beltran as the Mets' No. 3 hitter and has thrived in that role in 2008. He is still hitting below .300, but continues to hit for power and drive in runs. He will also steal the occasional base. He remains one of the best third basemen in Fantasy and a must-start in all leagues. (Updated 07/23/2008).
Wright will replace the injured Alfonso Soriano of the Chicago Cubs on the National League All-Star roster. All-Star manager Clint Hurdle of the Colorado Rockies made the announcement Friday. Colorado outfielder Matt Holliday, originally selected as a reserve, will replace Soriano in the starting lineup. (Updated 07/11/2008)
