Fantasy Analysis

This is good news in that at least Fantasy owners who started him this week will not be stuck with a big fat zero after all. He could salvage something for Fantasy owners in the final two games of the regular season now. He's had a decent season after a slow start, hitting .373 with 12 home runs in the second half. Still, considering his age, think of him as no more than a No. 2 Fantasy 3B entering 2009.

Mora sat out the previous series due to a hamstring injury, and was expected to be shut down for the rest of the season. However, he was back in the lineup on Friday, and went 4-for-9 (.444) with two RBIs in his last three contests. He finished 2008 with a .285 average, 23 homers and tied a single-season high with 104 RBIs. He also had that total in 2004.
