It's hard to back the Braves without Freddie Freeman, but take a look at the Pirates lineup and tell me who scares you. The top four of Frazier-Harrison-Bell-Freese has been solid, but that's not exactly a murderer's row. After those four the Pirates are rolling out Jaso, Mercer, Danny Ortiz and Chris Stewart. With the struggling Trevor Williams on the mound and the Pirates continuing to play poorly on the road (8-17), I'm going with the Braves once again tonight.
Braves starter Julio Teheran has struggled at home, as the team is just 5-18 in his past 23 outings in Atlanta. They have lost four straight of his starts against NL Central opponents, and are 3-8 in his home starts against losing teams. Look for reeling Pittsburgh to take advantage Wednesday and take the third of this four-game series.
No time for a writeup, but I'm on the road dogs. Back Pittsburgh.
