Rockies starter Tyler Anderson has posted ugly numbers this year and has had an issue with home runs, but he's put together back-to-back solid efforts in May, posting a 3.09 ERA and 18/3 K/BB ratio in his two starts this month. Lisalverto Bonilla has also struggled with homers in 13 innings with the Reds, and he wasn't any better with Triple-A Louisville. With the Reds dropping six straight and the Rockies playing well on the road this year, I'm backing Anderson and his recent improvements to get the win.

In Thursday’s double-header against the Twins, the Rockies lost the second game and got blanked in the process. A rested Reds team comes into Friday’s series having lost six straight. They'll aim to ride the arm of young starter Lisalverto Bonilla, who pitched eight solid innings his last start. Yet, the value lies on the Rockies, as the rested Reds won't end their losing streak.
