The Indians have done an amazing job in winning 10 of their last 11 games, but I don't see how they can match up against the Cubs starting rotation in a seven-game series. Not having Danny Salazar and Carlos Carrasco really puts the Indians at a disadvantage. The angle I like in Game 1 is Corey Kluber and Jon Lester to have a duel and keeping the game Under. The Indians have stayed Under the total in their last seven games. Lester has allowed one run or less in 12 of his last 13 starts. I like the Under here.

My simulations show nine runs being scored Tuesday in Game 1 of the World Series between the Indians and Cubs, which would shatter the Over on the posted total of 6.5. Cleveland starter Corey Kluber gave up a homer and two earned runs while taking the loss in five innings of work in his last playoff start against Toronto. Jon Lester of the Cubs has two wins and a no-decision in the playoffs while allowing just two earned runs. But my projection model sees both lineups producing Monday, lending a major value side on the Over in Game 1.
