i'm not sure i understand. i was saying nice things about Marion Barber.
And you may not remember.....but i am a huge fan of Aaron Rodgers. and have always had good things to say about him. what exactly is your beef? am i not doing it right? is there a standard you would like me to abide by?
i think you are overreacting to the recent squabbles i have had with some of the more undesirable Packer fans. the loose cannons that are looking to argue with me. further research would yield more of my friendlier posts.
yeah MBIII is a good player....it would have been cool to have him on the Packers i doubt it would have happened anyway.... JMIGS i agree he is also one of my fav players not on the packers roster...
that being said im not sure he deserved the contract that he just got....it makes him one of the highest payed RB's in the league...and he has never been the featured back...
but the main prob i have is that it was a 7 year contract...that would make him 32 in the last year of the deal.
he will be 25 when the season starts...so he is still relatively young but he also has a very punishing running style , for himself as well as the defensive players...this being the case he will probably have a shorter career that other RB's his age....but who knows maybe not....
it just seems like a very long contract and alot of money for a guy that is good, maybe really good but not great.
McCarthy has said often that he wants the Packers to be a smash mouth football team, but he's talking a lot of nonsense. By drafting good receivers every year, this team will still be a passing team. The Packers will average more yards rushing per game, than they did last year, only because Aaron Rodgers will run with the ball more than Brett would.
packersgal, are you saying there are no undesirables? Cause i can give you a list of names that are posers and bandwagon fans and would like nothing more than the Rodgers "era" to be a failure. give ME a break
