In an upset, Pennsylvania STUD o-lineman Eric Shrive is staying home to play for Penn. St. We had a great shot at him - and of course the delusional Notre Dame fans figured he was a lock for them (just like EVERY other recruit in the country) - but Penn. St. came from back in the pack to a big time player.

Damn! Oh well, up next Chris Watt and Marcus Hall. Hall? Long shot for sure, but Watt - - Illinois has as good a shot as any (of course Watt too is a Notre Dame lock just like Shrive was). Shrive is a good guy to keep in the conference even though now we have to face him for 3 or 4 years.

kcillini, looking at scout and rivals, we have just those two: Lendell Buckner & Leon Hill.

Melvin Fellows[Defensive End 4 Stars 6'5 245] commited early to Illinois but stayed at home in Ohio to play for the Buckeyes. So we have Buckner a DT from Chicago and Leon Hill a OT also from Chicago.
