Lakers haven't lost yet... tonight will probably be the toughest test yet.  Jazz are gonna give it everything they got tonight.  They are good at home but haven't really tested the Lakers yet.  I think it will be close but I gotta think Kobe and the Lakers are going to still take it.  If the Jazz take a game it will be this one but I don't think so. What does everyone else think?

I think the key to this game is to keep it close throughout and then bear down in the 4th quarter to put the Jazz away.  Utah is inevitably going to come out playing hard and with some real energy - they will undoubtedly not want to find themselves in a big hole, or in foul trouble, early.  At the same time, I honestly would prefer not to see the Lakers necessaily jump out to a big lead early and run the risk of settling later on.

I want to see good, solid team defense throughout...I want to see a continuation of the passing game and good shots taken - nothing forced...I want to see Farmar playing some meaningful minutes spelling Fisher in trying to contain D-Will as much as possible...I want to see Pau & Lamar man up on Boozer, Okur and Milsap and get their post up offenses going in a big way...and, finally, as much as I know we haven't seen Kobe dominate a game, I don't know that I necessarily want to see that happen in this game, unless he absolutely has to.  Nothing gives me more pleasure than watching Sasha hit big shots while Kobe gets his rest and not allowing the other team to gain an advantage when Kobe is on the bench.

I look to see the Lakers play a solid, fundementally sound, team game tonight on both end of the floor - withstand the Jazz onslaught as best they can (because you know it's coming) - and make their decisive move with about 5 minutes left to play.

Lakers 103

Tonight will probably be our toughest test but I'm confident we'll win.

The bench will be our key, they need to keep it close while our starters are on the bench.

Go Lakers!

Hi Laker fans, I think it will take 48 minutes of intense energy and focus for them to win tonight. I watched the Hornets and Spurs play yesterday and the Hornets matched the Spurs energy for about 32 minutes, let's hope that's not the case here with the Lakers.

Go Lakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've thought a whole lot about this game ... the 3rd game is always the pivot point of any series ... all the pressure is squarely on the shoulders of the home team esp. if the series has run true to form as the home team is playing on their court down 0-2.

This is where the player's playoff experience comes into play ... if the key people on a team has playoff experience they have dealt with the pressure of playing in a meaningful game.

The Lakers key players has this experience as they have the rings to prove to their teammates that they know what they are talking about in the terms of pressure and how to deal with it.

I look for Fish and Kobe to have a monstrous 1st quarter that will break the Jazz's will and silence the crowd ... The one thing the Jazz fans must not do loud enough to reach the ears of the Lakers is to 'boo' Fish.

If that happens - Elgin Baylor's (Laker) record of the most points scored in a NBA playoff game will be history as it will fire up Kobe and he will light up the scoreboard.

Lakers 124 - Jazz 104

IF "Boos" are heard :::::

Lakers 168 - Jazz 100

Gonna be a good game.  Lets just hope Kobe has one of the best pep talks ever for the team.  If we lose...its only by one point, but I am hoping for the win.
