Let's face it, the Jazz have to win both games 3 & 4 if they are to have a chance. If they do win both games at home I have a feeling that they can get the confidence to win one in LA. So far it looks as if the Jazz should have held on to Derick Fisher because he is definately the clutch player of the 1st two games hands down. Win two at home so we can have a good series.

I agree. If the Jazz lose game 3 at home, their aura of invincibility is gone. Lakers blew them out by 11 earlier this year so we know the Lakers will have some confidence.

The Jazz would have LOVED to hold on to Derek Fisher, but in an extremely classy move by Larry Miller (Jazz owner) he let him out of his contract after last season so he could move to a city where his daughter could get proper treatment for an eye disease she had been diagnosed with during last years playoffs. Fisher found a hospital in LA, and the end result (in the eyes of many Jazz fans) is that he ditched the team to go and play for the Lakers (the team that EVERY Jazz fan loves to hate). That was why Kobe Bryant was so fired up when they played in SLC in March. The Jazz had booed Fisher in his first game back to SLC, in December, and Bryant saw kicking their *%$ in SLC as redemption. I'm not saying that what the fans did at that game was right (booing a guy that was a huge part of Utah's playoff run a year ago), but there was definitely a feeling of betrayal on the fans part after Miller had let him out of his contract. The Jazz end up with Ronnie Price as their back-up, instead of the guy who has been so clutch in this series.

**Beagamer we finally agree on something. The Jazz have to win at least one game in Utah for the series to be interesting. Which by the way is completely possible. As far as D.Fish, what would you do if you were the owner and one of your players had something like that happen? I think it would be a personal decision. He knew what he was losing and it probably killed him to do it. But that just shows you what a great person Miller truly is. He is a winner in my book. It did suck that Utah booed Fish but I understand there fustration. Even more so if they don't get out of this series. Fish is clutch. A great team player. He brings alot of experience to the table. Good call Shelly-B.

Jazz have to win 2 games at home to make it a series. If they only won 1, at 1-3, they have to come to LA at least twice not to mention they have yet to win in LA this season.

I think any owner would have let a player go in that situation, can't really blame fisher to come back to LA. Look, Lakers was in a mess last summer, so it's not like fisher chose to come here to because Lakers Organization was rosy and wiining. He also took a 6.5 million paycut to live in a city with much higher living expense. He played his heart out for the Jazz just as he did it with Lakers.

Hate to point this out that when Fisher come to LA as a Warrior and Jazz, Lakers fans still cheer for him and did not regard him as a traiter when he really did walk away for the money after the 04 season.

Sorry Jazz Fans, not only Lakers players are winning on the court, even Lakers fans beat you in their seats on this one!

Bryuant, you're killing me! In one sentence you say that you can't blame Fisher for going back to the Lakers because they were a mess. Does that make any sense? I know what you're trying to get across, but you absolutely can blame Fisher for taking an extremely generous offer from Miller (and NOT one that any franchise would do) and thanking him by signing with the teams biggest rival. It would be like Steinbrenner letting ARod out of his contract so that he could sign with the Red Sox. Now.... had I been at the game at ESA in December when the Jazz fans booed Fisher I would not have participated, but your claim that Lakers fans are better than Jazz fans is beyond ridiculous and comparing a player who departs because of free agency to one who is released from his contract at the PLAYERS request doesn't add up. I'm not harping on Fisher here. He's a great player and I have a lot of respect for how he handles himself both personally and professionally, but he knew he was screwing the Jazz by leaving them to sign for less money with the Lakers.

Schelly-B,

From numerous reports from players and analysts, Utah Jazz have the most obnoxious fans, and are the worst crowd... however thats what translates into the best homecourt advantage
