LOL Well slow down there....?  I would be happy if the WAC champion could go on to a NCAAF playoff,  against a team that was the champion of thier conference too.  It would be cool if they dropped non-conference play....and replaced it with a playoff.

I definitely agree with that suggestion.  Let's do away with the non-conference schedules so there would be no more cries of too many games, seasons ending too close to final exams, and mid-majors getting shafted.  Let's have the champions from each conference make the playoffs, then square off against each other according to the seedings.  If teams from the SEC or Big Ten claim that they are better than many of the other smaller conference champions, then they should have won their own conference.  It's cut and dry, win your conference and advance.
