I guarantee there are a few teams that would take Thome and Konerko. Both of them are notorius slow starters. The one logical reason Stairs is hitting better right now is they are off to another slow start. Do you really think that Matt Stairs is better than either of them? Have you ever watched him?
I never said the White Sox should get rid of Thome,Konerko or Dye. I just doubt if any team is " currently" interested in any of them. I can't predict what will happen in the future.
I didn't realize Thome is hitting 80 points better against LH pitchers, hard to believe that. If ozzie decides to rest Thome more often, it will be against LH pitchers. Plus, I don't recall the last hit he got against a LH relief pitcher? I didn't say Stairs was a better hitter then PK, JT and JD. My point is if he can do it so can our 3 hitters. What teams might be interested in those guys? Maybe after their contracts expire. Also it would probably be an AL team. The only point i wanted to make was I think they can do much better then they have. If its true about 80 points better against LH, it won't last much longer.
I don't see your logic of Stairs getting off to a good start because the Blue Jays are off to a slow start ???
