A link to the free board on Scouts. Hopefully this works. Interesting one shot view of everything coming.

2008-2009 looks pretty good, 2009-2010 looks very good; 2010? Look at the guys ON THE BENCH. And keep in mind we might be replacing Semrau's 5th year with Lenzelle Smith (or Semrau might be a solid contributor) and Marcus Jordan is still considering walking on here.

Just curious on what projects you do at work on a grid Orkee.  Is it a chart of mustard usage comparted to burgers grilled, or maybe the grid your referring to is the bottom of the fry basket on the McFrier?

Thanks a ton, bsisko....helps to see a visual of all the changes/predictions for the future.  5 stars aren't enough for the valuable info you provide.

Thanks Brisko, much appreciated. Without your work and posts, I would be even more anxiously waiting for next season. I hate for summer to pass, but I also miss basketball. Luckily football helps as Il is doing much better now. But still, months away is hard to contemplate.

Keep up the good work and thanks again.

Not a problem to read and pass on some of the tons of stuff that's out there.

That grid is pretty cool - - kind of overkill, but interesting/useful.

Just want to keep the Illini bandwagon rollin', especially for us diehards.

I hope Jereme Richmond an Crandall  Head stay at least two or three years. Does anyone know the chances of that happening and the chances of the new rule where you have to stay for at least two years?

agreed about the Illiniboard.  Some good stuff posted there, but alot of morons and mindless stupidity.  Better than some other boards for other schools however, (wont name names of states east of here....)   I like to go and check it out occasionally, but I have not signed up and do not post there.

Odds are one or both are one and dones.  The NBA is unlikely to institute any further age limits as they would probably have a kid sue them for age discrimination.  It may happen anyway, but why draw attention to it?  Also, I believe the current players association bargaining agreement has 2 or 3 years left on it, so they wouldn't touch this until that comes up again.

Richmond has pretty much publicly stated he is a one and done.  The only way that does not happen is if he falls on his face as a freshman, and that is something I would not want to see.   That or he suffers an injury at NBA draft camp and comes back for one more year ala Dee Brown.  Again, if he gives us one good year, I want the best for him at the next level!   Crandall may be a two or even three year player as his size may need to fill out some before he is NBA ready.  Then again, this kid is only a sophmore/soon to be Junior,  who, if he progresses at his current rate like he did this year, could be in the same boat as Jeremy.  I agree the longer a kid stays in a system, the better for team flow and chemistry.  However, I do think with these two it is going to be a case of enjoy em' while we got em'.

I agree Richmond appears to be one and done. I think the League is still trying to push a 2 year college commitment, but it hasn't gone anywhere yet. But having Richmond for year on an absolutely loaded team might be enough to get the job done (NC).

It looks to me like Crandall would be a 2 and done. Kid already has pretty close to a college body and he's just a sophomore. So unless he stops developing he won't be around long either. But I think he'll stay AT LEAST two years.

Boy would I love to have BOTH of those guys around for their sophomore years and the '09 kids junior seasons.

Oh, but Richmond is supposed to end up decommiting to follow Tracy Webster to UK. LMFAO. Webster has a little pull with the family but he ain't got that much. The combo of Jerrance, Weber and Price will be plenty enough to keep him around. Funny how if he's leaving he's been one of our best recruiters among the players.

If we get multiple years from Crandall I will be jacked!  To think many people questioned taking Crandall as a committment with the thought of filling up too many schollies and missing on AJ.   Weber got this one right!
