He will be missed defensively and on the boards. Michigan doesn't have much size, but Udoh doesn't really fit the style of play that the Wolverines are working towards. I think that Michigan will be greatly improved over the next two years, possibly making a push for the NCAA tourney this year. They really need to work defensively though, because they are going to get killed on the boards. Good Luck to Beilein and the boys.

On another note: As a fan of college basketball, and a fan of teams from Michigan, I would love to see Udoh go to Mich. St. I think he'd fit in nicely there and they are losing some of their inside depth this year.

He became a better ballplayer during this past year under Coach Beilein and was working hard.  I wish him the best and success where ever he enrolls.

All the best to Udoh.  Beilein had better get it going next year as the Wolverines did NOT look like they improved through the season.  These damn WVU coaches make me nervous as they appear to be college system coaches whose tricks may work better with small schools and NOT help to attract pro-bound recruits to a major school.  Ya hearin me there RichRod of the spread offense that has no quarterback?

This is another big blow to the Michigan basketball program. Ekpe will be missed and he'll regret leaving Michigan. He can say it's hurting his chances at making the NBA playing in this system but he wasn't going to make it there playing for Tommy Amaker either. As a Michigan fan I want kids who want to be at the university playing for this team. Good luck Ekpe!!!!

I'll start smokin what you're still smokin, Still Smokin, if Michigan makes the tourney this year.  I see coach B's project at least a 3 years before they truly contend for a spot.  That means they will most likely have a winning record this coming year, but still not quite good enough to start the NCAA tourney streak.  B will get them there.  If there was ever a situation that called for patience, and there are few in major conference college basketball, this is it.

Delvon Roe is a monster, if he fully recovers from his knee injury he's a likely candidate to be a one and done.
