They will always get ranked because they play no one. Ohio State is great against Akron, Kent State and the weak conference but when they play teams with speed and defense they look like a high school team. The SEC beats each other up and very rarely gets an undeafeated team and they still play a conference championship and beat each other up again. Ohio State or any other lucky Big 10 team just rests and gets beat the last nine times it faced the best football conference, the SEC. If any of the SEC teams had the Big 10 or the Big 12 conference or non-conference schedules they could also be ranked in the top five every year. Soft is an understatement. All that talent means nothing if you are slow and play in a weak conference and a bunch of nursing homes. That is where the sportwriters get your rankings for those conferences. Ask Michigan what happened last year scheduling weak teams at home. Sometimes you just need a wake up call. Pray Georgia does not get through their brutal schedule and Ohio State plays the cream puffs. If they meet it will not be pretty. We are well aware of what Georgia has done against Wisconsin and Michigan State in bowl games. The lesson LSU and Florida gave Ohio State was called a classic can of whoop ass. Never a game.  Michigan did save a great coaches honor beating a uninspired Florida team who finished in the middle of the SEC pack. Tenn. LSU and Georgia did the same among others. Get some speed a schedule and a defense in the Big 10 then we will talk bout a football conference.

Blah, blah, blah. Come back when UGA makes their own conference title game. I'm anxious to see if Georgia lives up to the hype or not. I really don't dislike most football teams but reading the rantings of some of the fans really makes me want to cheer against them sometimes, or vomit.

I was cracking up through this entire post of incoherent rambling.

1. Yes, Big 10 teams don't play anyone out of conference. That's why OSU played Texas two years in a row, and now plays USC.

2. Yes, I am well aware of what Georgia has done against Wisconsin. I'm also aware of what Wisconsin has done against Arkansas and Auburn.

3. I LOVE how you use excuses for why Florida lost to Michigan. "An uninspired Florida team who finished in the middle of the SEC pack". Give me a break. That's the biggest bunch of bullsh!t I've ever read. If Florida was uninspired then I guess I'll just use that excuse for OSU as well. Michigan BEAT Florida. Simple as that. Just like LSU BEAT OSU. Don't make excuses because you're embarassed.

4. Explain how the SEC's OOC scheduling is so much more difficult than the Big 10's.

5. I'd hate to bring up how a bottom of the middle of the pack Big 10 team like Iowa SMOKED Florida and then beat defending national champion LSU the next year, and then almost beat Florida again, the same Florida team that won it all the next year. So, using the transitive property like you do, I guess the SEC can't compete with middle of the road Big 10 teams.

Sounds like "they" escaped again and one of them found the administrator's computer.

Funny, Dodd indicates that the Big Ten is so soft and that the SEC is so difficult and deep. Is that why the Big Ten and SEC are 9-9 against each other in bowl games over the last 5 years (and the Big Ten is actually 14-13 in head to head in the BCS era)? I'll give the SEC their due on beating OSU the last 2 years for the title, but not on overall depth being that superior. If the SEC is so deep, why did Michigan beat Florida despite turning the ball over 4 times? And why has a "second-rate" Big Ten team like Wisconsin gone 2-1 the last 3 years against SEC in their bowl games?

Care to explain this one, Gadawgs? Or is it Jethro?

What did Ohio State do to Michigan? What Is your record in conference championship games? What small school dominated Michigan on their home field(Applacian State). Your out of conference schedules are almost as weak as your defenses. I was at the outback bowl where your rested team played great until the second half. I would love to switch schedules with any of your big ten schools. To much cheese and brauts clog the veins in your head. If you do not get beat up during the year and you have weak competion it stands to reason you should win most of your bowl games. Your two best teams get to rest and not beat on each other for a conference championship and you save a loss and keep more people healthy. Florida was not playing for anything and Michigan was playing for their coaches honor who has lost to who every year. Yeah even a Jethro knows how bad the dominate team in the Big Ten every year looks like a high school team versus the SEC. Explain Ohio State 0-9 against the SEC. Just remember Michigan was not playing Georgia, LSU, Tenn, Auburn, or the other teams who also beat Florida last year and finished with better records. Michigan finished in probably the top of the pack in a very weak an overrated conference last year and every year. Ohio State plays Youngstown State, Akron, Kent State and gets great stats and has maybe Michigan and Wisc. as poor tests. If they lose to USC they still have very little chance of losing again. That is no parity top to bottom. When has Michigan and Wisconsin dominated Ohio State last?  If you could give Georgia those wins and they had the records you top tier teams have against the rest of the Big Ten and we did not have to play against the other Champion in the SEC there would be an even a bigger gap in how badly you were dominated. You must be soaking your brauts in moonshine. Pray Georgia does not get through their hard conference and championship with one loss or none. Ohio State will see even a deeper and far quicker team with balance and depth. These guys love playing the grannies you call a schedule. Who has Wisconsin scheduled non-conference this year? I will pass the Jethro thing on to the team when i see them. I hope we see you again I enjoyed the wins in Tampa and I will enjoy the Big Ten having the same dominate teams ranked again. It is so fun laughing at the poor weak minded sports writers who love Ohio State.
