How is the Big Ten soft when there are 4 teams in HIS top 25?  Just another idiot reporter jumping on the bash the Big Ten bandwagon because he isn't smart enough to think for himself.

Dodd is a SEC guy CBS is the SEC channel and all. Also How the heck can he rank Michigan St? This guy knows nothing about sports. Really , the Buckeyes  are his number 1 team and the Big 10 is soft?

The big ten is soft!!!  And don't accuse some of not being able to think for themselves when you argument is based off of reference of some one else's poll.

Hey genius ndtjto, Um.....this was dodd's article and his top 25 so where are you getting someone else's poll from.  He wrote it smart guy.  He is such a biased douche towards the SEC it's sick.  I don't mind if a reporter has his teams that he like to root for but when your this biased its hard to even read his crap cause you never know how far up the SEC's a** he is.  Reporters should be able to root for someone and give an honest critique of everyone else but this amature sports writer might as well start his own SEC paper.

Even if the Big Ten doesn't have a bunch of good teams, there is only 1 title.  The SEC has a good conference but who cares only 1 team wins the title.  Actually in our conference, 4 teams have won 6 of them in the last 20 years, with one team (Auburn) getting the shaft in '04. How about you? Oh that's right....1 1/2 by the only 2 teams in the Big 10.

I don't care if the entire SEC was in the top 25, it's still possible for someone else to win the title.
Not lately it isn't.

The point to all this madness isn't whether the SEC is better than the Big 10 lately (that's obvious) but that Dodd is a doofus for ranking several Big 10 teams and then ripping tOSU's conference strength.  That's crazy.

Also, am I the only one that doesn't think Kansas AND Missouri will be top 20 teams this season?  That seems like a stretch to me.
