LSU people dont know about college football....come on, we are just defending our name and reputation..... U kep talking about our schedule, but the reason that LSU wont be ranked in the Top 5, maybe Top 10, is because of our schedule, not because of our defense....not because of our excess in offensive weapons, not even because of our starting QB is not Perrilloux.
And i do know about other conferences....the Pac-10 had 1 less guy drafted than the SEC....The Pac-10 is very good, especially at the offensive skilled positions....USC had 4 1st rounders this year...similar to LSUs 4 the year before.
The Big 12 is a very physical line play on both sides of the balll....they like to pound the ball except for afew up and coming programs like Mizzou and Kansas.
The ACC is a good mixture of diiferent styles....definitely a coaching conference due to the variety....try and compare Clemson to Miami to Virginia Tech to Maryland...one bad call or play and u lose...
And finally the Big 10...i mentioned them 5th because thats their strength...thank god Illinois might actually bring the Big 10 back to respectability (with the exception of ESPN-they do have a contract with them so they are a lil biased)....With the Zookster recruiting at a basketball school and stopping Ohio St and Michigan from padding their stats are gonna make those other coaches start working again....The Big 10 used to be alot better (look where most of the SEC coaches came from) but huge egos have led to complacency
Oh yeah and they have trouble with Div 1-A teams....lol
So get off ur high horse (its just a shetland) and hold your schools accountable. LSU fans love football, love their football team, but most importantly the love winning and when we don't win, we are the first ones to acknowledge it....believe me when i tell you this, The pressure to coach at LSU or most other SEC school is extremely high, but the good ones thrive in it.
I am not saying that other schools in other conferences dont have the pressure, but its not as high...especially once we are 3-4 weeks into the conference schedule
